Today's quote
"we've got god, money, politics, homosexuality, has anyone ever heard of restless leg syndrome? its where you move your leg about in your sleep, its awful. you may have it, it may not keep you awake, it doesn't harm you in any way, it may not bother you in the slightest, but nonetheless its awful, the pharmaceutical companies declare it so, so they've invented a drug and you simply must take it. if you haven't heard of restless leg by the way you may have attention deficit disorder, awful. we've got a lot of drugs for that one, you must take them. you're depressed, you're not sleeping enough. you think your shy but you've actually got a social anxiety disorder. weak stream, irritable bowl syndrome, you people have all kinds of ailments you don’t know about, luckily we've got drugs for every one of them, you must take them. my colleague has a case involving a forgetting pill. you can take that one to forget you ever had restless leg or irritable bowl syndrome. same sex attraction disorder. and what troubles me, is why the folks in big pharmaceutical haven’t invented a pill for this disease, clearly they are in the business of selling sickness if there was a profit to be made they would make it. and with a estimate of gay population of 10 million in the US alone, there is certainly a big enough market. could it be that they cant cure it? well, not to worry, if big pharmaceutical cant do it, maybe big religion can, and they are. they are the ones who coined the term same sex attraction disorder, its a very good name, very important a good name. its a crucial first step in disqualifying homosexuals as a part of the population and categorizing them as a disease. making homosexuals seem less like people and more like the flu. and with terrible awful symptoms, but curable. and therefore less concerning when it comes to things like individuals rights, freedom, privacy, and marriage. Big religion is very concerned about marriage. Big religion is the one filling the pockets of congress actually got them to propose a constitutional ban on gay marriage. Think about that, a governmentally imposed systematic prejudice against a class based on their sexual orientation, never mind that one of the most trusted evangelical advisors to the president was himself having a homosexual affair on the side, and never mind that one of our congressman was writing naughty e-mails to his teenage male pages. I thought it was just a disease, and I was told it was curable, that’s what they told me down at the church. Well, you can legislate against it. You can give it a clever name and treat people for it. You can shut your eyes, have sex with your wife and pretend it all feels right. You can join the church and swear to be solvent for the rest of your life. You can drive around on a Saturday night with a baseball bat and try to beat it out of some poor soul you haven’t met. You can even come to this courtroom and testify as to your new leaf, and how well its all working. What a miracle. My only response is, give it time, we’ll see. Meanwhile, this company took $40,000 from my client promising to cure his gayness. Only in America. Only in a country overtly and notoriously celebrates its prejudice against a class of people by proposing constitutional amendments. God bless us all, home of the brave. Shame on you! Couldn’t you of at least offered a money back grantee, and thrown in a blender?"-Alan Shore, Boston Legal. This is a great quote about the issue, and is relativly true. It is among my most favorites.

Today
Today was awfully boring, and tiring. I woke up this morning and came down stairs and I saw my nephew, and he stayed at my house until almost 3:30. He's fun to have around, and a pain :/. Other than that, I went to walmart and got a lights for my bike. I hooked it up, and when i rode it to see if it worked, it didn't. I was SO frustrated. So I have to wait until tomorrow, oh well. That's about the extent of my day, ha. I'll blog some more tomorrow, goodnight.

This evening
Well, as I promised I would tell you what i did on Flight simulator today, here it is: i flew patterns around Oshkosh. Sounds fun doesn't it? Not really. Well anyways, on to other things. One of my friends just asked me for advice that she would know my answer to. Jenna is her name and she is notorious for being dumb. Not to mention being annoying, obnoxious, pissy and some other words I will not mention right now. She asks about every 2 days if I'm gay, claiming she doesn't know. And lately she has finally been dwindling down her crush on Levi, who is an ex of mine that realized he was straight, even though everyone knows hes not. Levi is a whole different blog entry, I'll write about one of my friends or ex-friends at least once a day, or every other day. So anyway, she knows how much I hate him and all, and she finally started realized why I hate him about a week or 2 ago. Today she comes to me saying shes confused. I ask why. She says "I love Austin, but I'm starting to like Levi again, and Levi just asked me out, again" So I said, "please tell me you said no" She told Levi i don't know. Then she asked me what she should do. I told her, you should know my answer: ditch Levi, stay with Austin, besides Austin is nicer. Even though I don't really like Austin, he can be a big homophobe, saying stuff like fag and Gaylord, etc. to a friend of mine that Jenna introduced me to(hoping for us to date, ha). Hes never done that to me, so I suppose i cant really hate him, yet again i don't like to hate. Well, that's that for that issue. Now, moving on to another friend of mine, Tarissa. She's in a lot of trouble right now because the cost of her and her dad's cell phone bill is $850. Mostly because she was calling her online boyfriend in Canada almost every day up until last week. And she expects me to know what to do ALL the time. I love helping people and giving advice, but only when i have it. This time I don't, and I try to tell her that and all she can ever say is "i know". Moving on to one more subject. MacKenzie, i have to call her in a little while and see how she is because she should be back from the band trip(that i didn't go on because i had other things to do). so, i think i am gonna try calling her now, and i think that's it for tonight's blog, Goodnight.
Today so far.......
Today was rather boring. I woke up, checked my e-mails and went to help my mom teach a class. Then, I came home checked my e-mails and watched As The World Turns. Even that was a little boring today. In a little bit here I am going to go and play Flight Simulator. I usually do it every day, and i think i might blog where i go and what i fly too. I have a couple of things that I usually do: Fly around the world by city name, Fly around the country by state and city name, fly traffic patterns around Oshkosh, or fly some real flight plans. I don't know what I'm going to do today, but you will know when i come back, which is usually after 9:00. That's all for now. Dismissed :).

ATWT and Homosexuality
You know, I have started to watch As The World Turns since last summer. All the story plots of that time were interesting to me. But as I look on some of them now, some are boring. But only one really sticks in my mind. Luke. This summer got a little more interesting. He fell in love with Noah, and it appears they have a few sparks between them. The kissed once, marked as the "first teenage same-sex kiss on daytime television". I've read some viewer reactions to it. Surprisingly the majority didn't mind it or even enjoyed seeing that a daytime soap opera has finally started to cover the issue of homosexuality. I myself enjoyed it. But what gets me is why some people hate it, even complain about it. If they so wish to not see it on television, don't complain, just don't watch it. I don't know why so many people have problems with homosexuality. Over 10 million people(estimate) in the US alone are homosexual. Its an every day thing people, daytime soaps usually address current issues in the world. Some people think homosexuality is wrong, a sin, etc. I don't. One: because I'm gay myself. two: why does a religion teach not to hate, but basically tells them to hate another religion(Wicca) and homosexuals? whats wrong with that picture? Religion (Christianity) even coined the name "same sex attraction disorder" Disorder? it was once called a mental illness even. Whats wrong with that picture?! In fact, big religion is the one filling pockets of congress, actually got them to propose a constitutional ban on gay marriage. Think about that! A governmentally imposed systematic prejudice against a class of people based on their sexual orientation. Basically, most non-gay people and non-gay supporters are prejudice and discriminatory toward a class of people based on their sexual orientation. This happened with African Americans. What's next, will there be a separate drinking fountain for gays only? a gays only section of the bus? a gays only school? But wait! If the person is still in the closet, then what? If they come out, will they be punished? People, whats wrong with this? This is a way of life for homosexuals, a guy and a guy, or a girl and a girl. Just like the way of life for hetero sexual, a guy and a girl. For homosexuals, liking people of the same sex is normal, they do it becuase its who they are. Just like hetersosexuals, liking people of the opposite sex is normal, they do it becuase its who they are. Just like for African Americans, they are dark skined, its who they are. Some of us choose to hide our homosexuality becuase of what we call "gay bashers". Gay bashers are basically people who discriminate us. 28% of homosexuals are forced to drop out becuase they miss to many days of school out of fear of being abused verbally, physically and emotionally. We need to educate people that doing this isnt right. Just like we educate people thats its not humane to discriminate, but yet most heterosexuals do toward gays. Most African Americans dont get discriminated anymore because we are taught not to do that, so why not do the same with gay people? I'll try to make posts everyday, but as for now, goodnight.
